Former President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan hold a meeting over a possibility of presidential ambition in the 2023 general Election.
There had been speculations that Jonathan might dump the Peoples Democratic Party to actualize his ambition on the platform of the All Progressives Congress.
Despite several calls for the former President to contest in 2023, he has refused to make his plans public.
Some of the supporters of the former president stormed his residence in Abuja on Friday calling on him to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.
The supporters had placards and banners with inscriptions such as ‘Goodluck Jonathan must run for president 2023′, “Jonathan is our candidate’, among others.

Recall that President Buhari and the All Progressives Congress defeated Jonathan in the 2015 general election.
Jonathan ever since has not taken any official step to contest the presidency after his defeat in 2023.
